Internal Verifiers Workshop – 9 May 2006

This one day workshop aims to improve the knowledge and skills of new or inexperienced internal verifiers, with special reference to the Joint Awarding Body Guidance on Internal Verification of NVQs and the NVQ Code of Practice. As quality assurance systems become an increasingly important issue, the role of the internal verifier has become critical for any centre running National Vocational Qualifications.

Conflict Management – 16 May 2006

This workshop is aimed at new or existing centres that are interested in learning more about this new conflict qualification. The day will be lead by a representative of Maybo and your customer relationship manager. All of us are placed in conflict situations and this session is to give you a taste of the skills this qualification could give to yourself and your staff.

NVQ Code of Practice – 30 May 2006

This workshop is aimed at clarifying the implications of the NVQ Code of practice for all centres currently delivering NVQs. The workshop will enhance current understanding of the NVQ Code of Practice by identifying the centres responsibilities and the implications on your centre quality assurance systems.

Half day workshop. Sessions running 10:00 – 12:30 or 13:30 – 16:00

Bridging the Gap Assessors & Verifiers – 13 June 2006

These workshops are aimed at Assessors and Verifiers, to help bridge the gap between the D Unit requirements and that of the revised A&V units. There will be a presentation on the relevant unit requirements, an opportunity to create a self development plan and also an opportunity to share best practice. The workshops have been organised as 2 half day sessions. For delegates who carry out the role of Assessor and Verifier we advise that they attend both sessions. 

Full day or either Morning or Afternoon Session. Morning session will be specific to Assessors, afternoon for Internal Verifiers
