This QCA-approved Higher Professional Diploma is suitable for people who want to gain high level photo imaging skills, both technical and business-related. The programme covers a broad range of specialised areas including fashion photography, portraiture, laboratory management, moving image production (video). Candidates are assessed by assignments which are designed to reflect current work practices in the photographic industry. It could form the first part (120 credits) of a related foundation or honours degree. Candidates could also progress to the Master Professional Diploma in Strategy & Development at Level 7 which can be achieved in a photo-imaging context.
