Certificate in Engineering - Vocational 3 (No. 2800 )
This principle vocational award for engineering is intended to cater for those seeking a qualification in production and maintenance engineering. The qualification structure allows for awards in a range of pathways including fabrication, welding, mechanical manufacturing, materials processing, installation commissioning and maintenance and electrical maintenance. There are a wide range of optional units allowing flexibility in provision. The award follows on from the level 2 certificate in applying engineering principles and supports the new NVQs in Engineering. It also forms part of the technical certificate requirements for Modern Apprenticeships in Engineering.
