Notification of support from e-Skills UK, for new Systems Support qualifications
Acting on feedback received at the successful launch of it’s Software Development and full time qualifications, City & Guilds is pleased to announce that they now have support from the Sector Skills Council for IT, e-skills UK, to develop short Systems Support qualifications at levels 2 and 3.
Proposed structure of the qualifications
To qualify for the award, learners must take the core unit, Customer support provision at the level of the qualification.
At level 2, learners must take an additional 3 units, at least 2 of which must be from the level 2 Practitioner options, the third optional unit can be taken from the range of level 1, 2 or 3 Practitioner or IT User units.
At level 3, learners must take an additional 4 units, at least 3 of which must be from the level 3 Practitioner options, the fourth optional unit can be taken from either level 1, 2 or 3 Practitioner or IT User units.
The qualification has been submitted to QCA for accreditation and further information will follow this news update as soon possible.
