The Higher Certificate is suitable for people who work in a variety of community justice roles. This might include probation, community safety, crime reduction, victim support or witness services. This qualification could form the first part (120 credits) of a Foundation degree, and provides the knowledge needed to progress onto other related programmes like the Diploma in Probation Studies. Learners could also progress to the Level 7 Master Professional Diploma in Strategy & Development which can be achieved in a community justice context. Assessment is by assignment.
