These awards allow those working in a wide range of animal care environments to achieve recognition for their skills and competence, and enable progression from junior to senior positions. They have a general route at Levels 2 and 3 as well as new routes in dog grooming, pet care and retail, animal welfare, breeding, animal training and open farms. Successful learners could progress to the National (Advanced National) Certificate in Animal Care (0341).
