Scheduled GOLA system upgrade dates for 2008

These releases may include fixes for current issues or new functionality. It may be that no fixes or new functionality are required and if so, you will not need to upgrade on these dates.

If there is a requirement to upgrade your version of ESM or eAdministrator on these dates then the 'upgrade' option will appear on screen when you log on after these dates. If no system upgrades are required on these dates then no upgrade option will appear.

We will confirm all releases and necessary actions by email and on this web page seven days before the scheduled release date. All upgrades are mandatory, sometimes with a grace period.  Where there is no grace period you cannot continue testing after these dates until the required upgrade to your system has taken place. 

All ESM and eAdministrator upgrades need to be carried out by users logged on with full local administrative rights to the computers on which the software is installed. We therefore advise you ensure your IT department, or colleague with technical responsibility for the GOLA system, is available on or around these dates and allow extra upgrade time when booking in candidates for tests.

Any upgrades to the Catglobal website will take place on these dates. You will not need to do anything but we may on occasion inform you that the website may not be available for a short period of time whilst the upgrades take place. We will also notify you if any upgrade to the Catglobal website will results in a significant change to your administrative processes.
