Keith Chapman - Landscape Gardening

Keith is 21 and from Hackforth in Bedale. He studied at Askham Bryan College in York where he completed a National Diploma in Horticulture. Keith has also completed his Apprenticeship with his employer, Low Mill Landscapes in Finghall. Keith will be competing at WorldSkills with Timothy Lancaster.

‘By competing in skills competitions I’ve learnt how to plan my work effectively within set timescales and in a team. These are valuable skills for me to take into my employment.’

Competition requirements: Keith will be expected to lay out a small garden using various materials such as natural stones, concrete, wood and/or plastics, soil, lawn and plants.
