Simon Noble - Auto-body Repair

Simon is 20-years-old and originally from Billingham near Cleveland. He studied at Thatcham College where he successfully achieved NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Vehicle Body Repair. He has also completed an advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Vehicle Body Repair. Simon now works for Simon Bailes Peugeot, a car dealership in Northallerton, North Yorkshire.

‘I would love to win a gold medal at WorldSkills, but it is just as important for me to gain maturity and grow in confidence.’

Competition requirements: Simon will have to repair or replace components or body panels on a vehicle using the latest techniques. He will be expected to work to very exact specifications and controlled standards.
