New to hairdressing?
Aimed at younger staff members new to hairdressing, our qualfications will help them learn the basics, including shampooing and assisting removing colour and perms. Find out more about the qualifications that will help your staff start a career in hairdressing

Trainee
NVQ level 2 in Hairdressing will bring your staff up to the national standard for basic hairdressing skills like basic cutting, colouring and styling, they'll learn all the basics from shampooing to salon reception duties.

Level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing similar to the level 2 NVQ, but aimed at students in college already and is not competency based.

The Apprenticeship in Hairdressing is ideal for beginners looking to enter the hairdressing industry.  The apprenticeship combines the Level 2 NVQ in Hairdressing and levels 1 and 2 keyskills

Professional
Prove yourself as a professional through completing NVQ level 3 in Hairdressing which covers a variety of techniques including colouring, fitting hair extensions and styling.

Your staff could also study the Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing similar to the level 3 NVQ, but aimed at students in college already and is not competency based.

Our short vocational qualifications available in each of the units listed within the diploma which allow your staff to specialise in each of the specific skill areas, or learn new skills.

There's also the Advanced Apprenticeship in Hairdressing for those already in the business looking to further their existing skills.  The apprenticeship includes the Levels 2 and 3 NVQs in Hairdressing and Keyskills at Levels 1 and 2.
