To make life simpler for our centres we have now combined the separate qualification parts of a hairdressing apprenticeship, into one single point of registration: 9701 City & Guilds Advanced Apprenticeship in Hairdressing. This means a centre is no longer required to register a candidate separately for both constituent parts: the NVQ and the Key Skills.

Same quality qualifications; simpler administration; better value!

The Apprenticeship in Hairdressing (9701) is made up of the following qualifications:

NVQ

Hairdressing Level 2 and Level 3 3014-04 or 3014-54 (including GOLA)

Key Skills

• Communication Level 2 3068-01
• Application of Number Level 2 3068-01
• Information Technology Level 1 (Optional)

Employment Rights and Responsibilities – ERR Certificate of Achievement either provider devised certificate of achievement or the Habia ERR certificate
