ICT Skills for Life Live Assignments- Entry 1

These materials may only be accessed by assessors and registered candidates to carry out live ICT Skills for Life candidate assessment. They must at all other times be stored securely under the responsibility of the centre’s designated ICT Skills for Life Co-ordinator.

As these are live assessment materials, candidates must not under any circumstances retain copies of their candidate’s paper or assessment record. These must be destroyed once no longer required for internal or external verification.

About the assignments

Each assignment consists of two documents, a candidate’s paper and an assessment pack. In all cases please ensure that you download all of the files relating to each assessment that you use.

For security reasons both of these documents are password protected. We disclose the password to the ICT Skills for Life Co-ordinator at the time of qualification approval. 

These assignments were originally issued on CD ROM to centres, and they have not been amended from the CD ROM version. 
If you do not have the password, please ask your ICT Skills for Life Co-ordinator to email us skillsforlife@cityandguilds.com. Please include your centre number in this email.

Approved City & Guilds ICT Skills for Life (3804) centres may download any of the files below and store locally, although the above security considerations must be observed. Any revisions or the addition of new assignments will be communicated via Skills for Life news.

Printing these documents

When printing the candidate's papers and assignment packs, it is vital to ensure that:

• paper size is set to A4
• scale is set to 100%
• any ‘shrink to fit’ options are disabled.

We cannot accept responsibility for any inconsistencies in document formatting if these instructions have not been followed.
