More people under 30 than ever are setting up their own business and really loving it.   One success story is 25-year old Wayne George.

Wayne set up his own successful furniture company in Shepton Mallet armed with a City & Guilds level 2 Certificate in Furniture & Handcraft Cabinet Making.  Despite living in a rural location, he’s never looked back – he now sells to clients as far away as Canada and employs a trainee to work with him.   His business has gone from strength to strength and he has expanded his business after winning the Small Business Learner of the Year UK Award in 2003 for his outstanding and innovative furniture.
